The entire Big White Barn property has 3 ceremony areas - indoors, covered outdoors, and outdoors. We also provide a catering kitchen, bridal suite with full bath, groom's room, pavillion, fire pit, recreation area for adults, playground for children, tables and chairs for 200. Break down of tables and chairs at the end of the event is also included! Our rental period is 12-15 hours depending on package selection!

Anything not included in your written contract. This includes items such as set up, linens, catering, DJ, floral, cakes, etc. unless purchased additionally.

At the Big White Barn, we want you to feel at home for the day. We offer a full 12 hours of rental time so you have plenty of time to prepare for and enjoy your big day. Addditional morning hours are included with the Grand package or purchased additionally with other packages.

If you wish to have alcohol at your event, you'll need a venue approved TABC certified server and scheduled security. You will also need a $1 million Insurance policy with the BWB named as addition insured. The full requirements are outlined in our rules and regulations. We will be happy to answer all of your questions regarding alcohol at your tour!

You have several options at The Big White Barn - outdoors, indoors, or covered outdoor. We have flexible spaces and open areas for you to customize as much as you like! If you want a little more guideance, we will be happy to show you layout ideas and offer assistance.

We have multiple hotels in Decatur. Most are approximately 10 minutes drive from The Big White Barn!

YES! We do have a list of recommended vendors who have provided stellar service at The Big White Barn. You may choose from these or bring anyone else you choose! (bartender must be approved)

Absolutely! We have a stunning ceremony lawn overlooking the pond and landscape. We also have additonal picturesque spots on our property where you may choose to set up your ceremony. Want the feel of the outdoors, but a little more shade for guests? Check out our large covered pavilion where we can comfortably seat your guests.

We treat all clients courteously, and we do not refuse service to same sex couples. A large portion of our profits go to the Orthodox Church of America, which does not support same-sex marriage and actively teaches against homosexuality and encourages abstinence for those with same-sex attractions. We do like to make our clients aware as we know this might be a concern for some couples.
